Vision and Values

Vision

Together in God's love, we aspire to be our best!

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord rather than for people.” Colossians 3:23

Our pupils attain well due to a thirst for learning which is aided through carefully curated curriculum design. Our well curated, exciting curriculum encourages our pupils to have enquiring minds and a spirit of curiosity.

We ensure that all of our learners, including those who are disadvantaged or those with SEND, have full access to the curriculum allowing all of our children to be their best and live life to the full (John 10:10).

We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us.” Romans 12:6

We recognise that we are all blessed with different gifts. Each of us should use our gifts to serve others as faithful stewards of God’s grace (Peter 4:10). Our pupils flourish beyond the curriculum through a variety of opportunities which help them to succeed with their individual talents and interests.  Using each of our gifts and talents in this way helps us all to thrive, develop cultural capital and become the people we are fully capable of being.

Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.” Romans 15:7

Being made in the image of God, we enable each other to flourish holistically through our Christian values of Compassion, Perseverance, Forgiveness, Trust and Thankfulness. We are God’s hands and feet on Earth; we have received God’s love and so now share love and acceptance of others, whatever their differences because they too were made in God’s image. This is God’s love in action which reaches beyond our children to our staff, our governors, and our community.

Working together enhances rapid growth: “from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.”

Ephesians 4:16

We value the partnerships we have with families, our local church, the wider Diocese and community groups. These support us in growing together as an inclusive community, where we respect and acknowledge people’s faith, and adopt positive roles.  We encourage all members of our community to contribute to our ethos of living out our High Five Values, in all aspects of school life.

Through consultation with all stakeholders, our ‘High Five’, which illustrates the Christian core values of our ethos, were revised and updated in July 2024.

We aim to demonstrate our 'High Five Values' in action and in doing so, we are working to achieve our school vision.
