SFPS is a small school with a community feel where your child's individuality is recognised and celebrated. A school which puts values at the heart of everything we do whilst striving to ensure children have the opportunity to 'be their best'.
We know that choosing a school or nursery for your child is an important but difficult decision. You will gain so much information and knowledge from word of mouth and information on school websites, but nothing will support you in making the decision like the feeling you get as you look around a school in action.
We are still accepting applications for nursery for September 2026! Do get in touch if you would like to come and have a look around our wonderful provision, including our newly refurbished, stand-alone nursery with private garden.
If you are considering a Reception or Nursery place for September 2027, we would be delighted to welcome you to our Open Morning on Wednesday 14th October at 9:30am.
Choosing the right school for your child is an important decision, and our Open Morning provides a wonderful opportunity to experience life at St Francis first-hand. You will have the chance to tour our school, visit classrooms, meet members of our staff team, and see our children actively engaged in their learning. It is the perfect way to gain a feel for our nurturing, inclusive environment and discover what makes our school community so special.
If you would like to attend, please register your interest here: St Francis Open Morning 2026
Alternatively, you are warmly invited to join one of our Collective Worship assemblies, led by Reverend Richard from St Francis Church, Bournville. These take place every Tuesday morning from 9:00am to 9:30am and offer a lovely opportunity to experience the welcoming atmosphere of our school community and see how our Christian values are woven into school life.
If you would like to attend an assembly, please contact the school office in advance so that we can arrange for a member of the leadership team to welcome you, answer any questions you may have, and show you around our school.
We look forward to meeting you and sharing all that St Francis has to offer.

St Francis Nursery has a yearly intake every September following a child’s third birthday. Children are entitled to 15 hours a week provision, which is either allocated over 5 mornings or 5 afternoons. Full-time provision is available for a top-up fee of £75 per week for 5 full days of provision (£5 per hour).
